    Scan-Hide holds several independent third-party certifications that validate the tannery’s commitment to and implementation of responsible chemical management

    LWG Gold

    For the past six years, Scan-Hide has successfully passed the LWG certification with a score of 95+ points – which is gold standard.

    The Leather Working Group (LWG) is a not-for-profit membership organization for stakeholders across the leather supply chain that certifies leather manufacturers according to their environmental compliance and performance capabilities.

    ISO 9001

    Scan-Hide is ISO 9001 certified which ensures that our customers get consistent, good-quality hides and services.

    OEKO-TEX

    Scan-Hide holds the STeP by OEKO-TEX® certification, which is an independent certification system for brands, retailers and manufacturers from the textile and leather industry. STeP by OEKO-TEX® considers sustainability aspects related to environmentally friendly production processes, social working conditions and health and safety, and includes a comprehensive analysis and assessment of the production conditions.
